Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to work quoted and carried out by One Call Projects (“we”, “us”) and to the use of this website. By accepting a quote you agree to these terms.

Quotes

  • Quotes are based on the scope agreed at the site visit and the information and photos provided. They are valid for the period stated on the quote.
  • Work outside the quoted scope, or changes requested after acceptance, will be quoted separately before it is done.
  • Hidden defects that only become visible once work starts (for example inside walls, underground or behind existing installations) may require a revised quote. We will not proceed with additional work without your approval.

Acceptance, deposit and payment

  • A quote is accepted online through your job link, in writing, or by paying the deposit.
  • The deposit stated on the quote is payable on acceptance. Work is scheduled once the deposit reflects in our account.
  • The balance is payable on completion, within the period stated on the invoice. Please use your job reference as the payment reference.
  • Materials and equipment supplied remain our property until paid for in full.

Scheduling and site access

  • We will agree a start date with you. Dates can move because of weather, material availability or site conditions; we will keep you informed.
  • You agree to give safe and reasonable access to the site during agreed working hours, and to tell us about any known hazards, services or restrictions on site.
  • Where approvals are needed from a body corporate, HOA or landlord, you are responsible for obtaining them before work starts unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Workmanship

  • We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. Please report any problem with our workmanship to us as soon as you notice it so we can inspect it and put it right.
  • Manufacturers’ warranties on products and equipment we install are passed on to you on the manufacturer’s terms.
  • This does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, alterations by others, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear.

Cancellations

If you cancel after accepting a quote, we may retain from the deposit the reasonable cost of materials ordered or fabricated and work already done. Any balance of the deposit will be refunded.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies. Otherwise, our liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the value of that job.
