One Call Projects respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, company or complex name, phone number and email address.
- Job details: the site address, a description of the work, and photos or documents you upload.
- Records of quotes, acceptances (including the name entered, date and IP address), invoices and payments.
- Basic technical information needed to run the website securely, such as IP addresses in server logs.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange site visits, prepare quotes and carry out the work.
- To invoice, receive payment and keep financial records as required by law.
- To contact you about your job. We do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed to do your job — for example with a specialist we appoint to carry out part of the work, or with suppliers delivering to site — and with our website host and email provider, who store it on our behalf. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Job and financial records are kept for as long as the law requires (generally five years for financial records). Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted when no longer needed.
Security
Photos and documents you upload are stored privately and are only available to our staff and through your own job link. Each job link is unique — please don’t share it publicly.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@onecallprojects.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
